পিরিয়ডের জন্য প্রস্তুতি
Stocking up, scheduling lighter days, self-care planning
The Power of Preparation
When you know your period is coming, a little preparation goes a long way. This isn't about treating your period as something to dread — it's about honoring what your body needs.
Preparation reduces the mental load during your period. When cramps hit and your energy is low, you don't want to realize you're out of supplies.
Taking care of logistics in advance means you can focus on rest and self-care when the time comes.
Your Period Prep Checklist
Stock your supplies: menstrual products, pain relief, heating pad. Keep a small supply in your bag or at work.
Plan comforting, nourishing meals for the first couple of days. Having ingredients for iron-rich, anti-inflammatory meals on hand makes a difference.
Set up your comfort zone: clean heating pad, cozy blankets, comfortable clothes, and perhaps a show or book you've been saving.
Scheduling and Setting Boundaries
Look at your calendar for the days around your expected period start date. Can you keep things lighter on the first day or two? Small calendar adjustments can make a big difference.
This isn't about canceling your life — it's about strategic planning. Maybe you do the presentation on day 10 instead of day 28.
Set expectations with others if appropriate. You don't owe anyone a detailed explanation — saying you're going to have a low-key few days is enough.
